Our Story

A fellowship shaped by prayer, discipleship, and a vision to build people for purpose.

Destiny Builders' International Fellowship (DBIF) is a Christian fellowship and ministry established in 2019. It grew from a vision to help believers discover purpose, strengthen character, and live with practical wisdom in every area of life.

Its early work centered on prayer, teaching, fellowship, and building relationships across families, individuals, and communities. Over time, the ministry widened into leadership development, relationship guidance, financial stewardship, and outreach activities that continue to shape its identity today.

On 29 January 2021, the fellowship expanded into Ibadan, and its presence has since grown across Southwestern Nigeria and beyond.

From The Visionaries International Fellowship (VIF) to DBIF

The fellowship began as The Visionaries International Fellowship (VIF). While preparing for registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission, it adopted the name Destiny Builders International Fellowship, both because another organization held a similar name and because the new name better expresses the ministry's mandate: helping people discover, develop, and fulfil their God-given destinies.

Our biblical foundation

DBIF believes God is still shaping people for purpose, restoration, and service. The ministry is grounded in Scripture and seeks to help people grow spiritually, relationally, and practically.

Isaiah 58:12

“And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.”

Isaiah 61:4

“And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.”
